Job Description

Farm duties include planting, weeding, harvesting crops, bunching crops, wrapping bunches, stocking the coolers, washing buckets and stocking the stand. Need to be able to follow specific instructions. Need to be able to work in all weather and most of the jobs require repetitive and bending, kneeling and lifting up to 50lbs. The job is for a part time position starting early July through early December. 4 days and up to 5 in the fall starting at 7am till two. This is a farming position not a floral designer. A great experience for the right person and farming does require a specific person.

  • Reliable and Punctual (We start early, and Tardiness is not accepted!!!) Not the job for you if you are not a mover in the am. We are working at 7am not the show up time.

  • Farm or horticulture experience is preferred but not required. Willing to learn and follow the methods of our farming practices. Short cuts are not our motto here quality always in everything we do.

  • Positive, self-motivated that can work independent or with small groups. Good attitude and team spirit. We all work together to get the job done.

  • Move efficiently while maintaining our high-quality standards for our crops.  Harvesting speed comes with time so I am looking for an employee that has a pace moving back to the tractor or barn safely. We work together in the barn so someone who has body awareness moving in and around the coolers with other workers in mind.
